NEW AT THE HALL
The Hockey Hall of Fame continually receives donations of artifacts from across the world, from international tournaments to leagues, schools, photography collections and more. Here are some of the newest additions now on display:
• Stanley Cup Champion Exhibit – showcasing the Vegas Golden Knights' Stanley Cup win! Highlights of this Hyundai NHL Today display include Conn Smythe winner Jonathan Marchessault's jersey, Zach Whitecloud's game worn skates, Golden Knights Captain Mark Stone's game worn gloves and helmet, items straight from the celebrations in the Golden Knights locker room and more.
• Class of 2022 Inductee Showcase – highlighting the careers of Daniel Alfredsson, Herb Carnegie, Roberto Luongo, Riikka Sallinen, Daniel Sedin and Henrik Sedin. Located adjacent to the Hall's Spirit of Hockey store, this tribute features artifacts ranging from NHL All-Star games, milestone NHL seasons, Olympic and IIHF Championships, and acheivement awards.
• Colorado Avalanche Stanley Cup Championship Ring – now on display in Lord Stanley's Vault inside the Esso Great Hall, the 2022 champions ring joins the collection! With six rubies representing their win in game six of the Final making up the Avalanche logo, see the incredible details up close in person, PLUS watch the 'Hockey Treasures' behind-the-scenes episode to see the inscriptions on the inside of the band here.
• '72 Summit Series: 50 Years – a special exhibit featuring iconic artifacts including Paul Henderson's series–winning goal stick are now on display to commemorate this special anniversary. Learn more.
HOCKEY HALL OF FAME ANNOUNCES 2023 INDUCTEES
TORONTO (June 21, 2023) – Mike Gartner, Chair of the Hockey Hall of Fame Selection Committee announced today that seven individuals have been elected to Hockey Hall of Fame Honoured Membership, in both the Player and Builder Category. The vote took place today at the annual meeting of the Selection Committee in Toronto.
"The Hockey Hall of Fame is proud to welcome these hockey legends as Honoured Members," said Mike Gartner. "Their contributions to the game of hockey are well documented and their election to the Hockey Hall of Fame is richly deserved."
In the Builder Category, Ken Hitchcock and Pierre Lacroix were elected. In the Player Category Tom Barrasso, Henrik Lundqvist, Caroline Ouelletee, Pierre Turgeon and Mike Vernon were elected.

2023 HHOF NHL MEDIA AWARD RECIPIENTS ANNOUNCED
TORONTO (June 1, 20223) – Frank Seravalli, President of the Professional Hockey Writers' Association, and Chuck Kaiton, President of the NHL Broadcasters' Association, announced today that Mark Mulvoy will receive the Elmer Ferguson Memorial Award for excellence in hockey journalism, and Dan Rusanowsky will receive the Foster Hewitt Memorial Award for outstanding contributions as a hockey broadcaster.
Mulvoy and Rusanowsky will receive their awards at the "Hockey Hall of Fame NHL Media Awards Luncheon" in Toronto on Monday, November 13, 2023, and their award plaques will be displayed in the Esso Great Hall at the Hockey Hall of Fame alongside past award recipients.
Recipients of these awards, as selected by their respective associations, are recognized by the Hockey Hall of Fame as "Media Honourees" - a separate distinction from individuals inducted as "Honoured Members". Honoured Members are selected by the Hockey Hall of Fame Selection Committee.

NOW OPEN – NEW ST. LOUIS BAR & GRILL ARENA ZONE
Opened on March 10, 2023, the new St. Louis Bar & Grill Arena Zone serves as the gateway to the NHLPA Game Time model rink and is comprised of the following highlights:
• Franchise Alley spotlights each NHL member team and their minor league affiliates
• Vintage Hockey Hub houses the largest jewel in the HHOF collection the first Zamboni used in the NHL in 1954, as well as other artifacts from the famous original six arenas
• Silverware displays over 25 historic non-NHL Championship Trophies, including the Allan, Calder, Clarkson and Memorial Cups
• The Changing Face of Hockey “Diversity in our Game” features hockey's groundbreakers and trailblazers
• Plus several other themed exhibits celebrating additional innovations and levels of hockey
THE LARRY AND JUDY TANENBAUM FAMILY LEGENDS OF HOCKEY SCHOLARS FUND
Inspiring Indigenous youth to excel in academics and succeed through unique Hockey Hall of Fame outreach programs.
In 2018, the Hockey Hall of Fame introduced the newly established Hockey Hall of Fame Development and Preservation Fund together with its first “designated endowment” program, namely The Larry and Judy Tanenbaum Family Legends of Hockey Scholars Fund supported through an endowment gift of $1 million from the Tanenbaum's family foundation.
In activating the Legends of Hockey Scholars initiative, the Hockey Hall of Fame partnered with Connected North to deliver a series of virtual field trip sessions to provide Indigenous schools in remote communities with access to hockey–related content that is engaging and empowering. The curriculums include video tours of specific Hall of Fame exhibits, interactive class activities, as well as artifacts, historical footage and photographs from the Hall of Fame's extensive archives.
As stewards of the Legends of Hockey Scholars Fund, each year the Hockey Hall of Fame selects students from Indigenous schools who have not only demonstrated exceptional dedication towards academics and their community, but also shown a passion for hockey. In addition to receiving financial contribution towards future education, a listing of each scholarship recipient is displayed within the Changing Face of Hockey: Diversity in the Game exhibit at the Hockey Hall of Fame.
